LieyuDive Safety Guidelines
Diving is an exciting and fun activity, but safety measures need to be strictly adhered to in order to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience. The following are basic safety guidelines for the use of Lieyu diving ventilators. Please read them carefully before use.
1. Certification and Training Requirements
Users must possess a relevant diving certification, such as the PADI Open Water Diver (OW) certification. The user must be properly trained in scuba diving and have the knowledge and skills required to dive safely.
2. Pre-Dive Water Condition Assessment
It is important to familiarize yourself with the water conditions of the intended dive site. Do not use the diving ventilators in the following scenarios:
- Narrow, cluttered, or obstacle-filled environments (e.g., cave diving or wreck diving).
- Areas near docks, locks, or waterways with passing vessels.
- Areas with floating ice.
- When the surface has waves above level 3.
- In fast-flowing waters.
3. Diving Ventilators Inspection and Maintenance
- Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the user manual.
- Carefully inspect the machine before each use. Make sure all components are functioning correctly, all connections are secure, and the battery is fully charged.
- Check for smooth airflow in and out of the machine.
- Never use faulty or suspected faulty machine.
4. Maximum Diving Depth
Each diving ventilator has a recommended maximum diving depth. Do not exceed the maximum diving depth. Always dive within safe limits to avoid potential hazards.
5. Handling Internal Components
The diving ventilator contains high-capacity lithium batteries, a precision air pump, and complex control circuits. Tampering with internal components is strictly prohibited.
6. Additional Safety Equipment
Lieyu diving ventilators are not a complete diving safety system. Divers must carry additional safety and emergency equipment, such as:
- Portable air cylinders
- Dive computers
- Dive knives
- Emergency ascent devices
- Lifebuoys or similar devices
7. Buddy System
Regardless of the diving method or location, always follow the buddy system. Solo diving is strictly prohibited. Ensure that you have a reliable dive partner to enhance safety.
8. Age Restriction
The use of diving ventilators by persons under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited. Ensure that you are age-appropriate.
9. Read the Safety Instructions Carefully
It is imperative to carefully read and fully understand this guide before using the diving ventilators. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in serious diving risks or accidents.
Diving is an extraordinary way to explore the underwater world, but safety should always come first. Always remember to follow these guidelines and make sure you are properly prepared.
Happy Diving!
